SAG Flowmedik (hereinafter referred to as “Flowmedik”, “we”, “our” and “us”) takes privacy and integrity very seriously, and we only handle personal data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person in accordance with applicable data protection legislations and this privacy policy.

The purpose of this privacy policy is to provide you with information about how we use, capture and share your personal data. This privacy policy sets the data protection and security standards within Flowmedik. These security standards apply worldwide and are based on globally accepted principles on data protection.

Our employees are obliged to adhere to this privacy policy as well as observe applicable local data protection legislations. Flowmedik is thus responsible to ensure that your personal data is processed in a safe manner and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Flowmedik’s  website uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer and it contains information. Cookies are used for certain functions that improves the visitors experience of the website. They also provide visitor statistics. These statistics can only be read as numbers and are not linked to the person.

Purposes of processing personal data
We process your personal data when this is necessary to deliver services according to agreement. We use your personal information for:
- delivery and development of our products and services,
- fulfilment of our contractual obligations,
- fulfilment of other obligations,
- manage our customer relationship,
- organizing of events,
- analysis and profiling of customer or other registered behavior,
- electronic direct marketing,
- focus on advertising in our company's own and other parties' online services

We use this information to market and develop services.
 

Information being processed
We process the following personal data about the customer or another registered person, for example trainees:
- basic information such as name *, date of birth, customer number, username, gender, native language
- contact details of the data subject, such as e-mail address, telephone number, address information; information about the company and the company's contact persons, such as business ID and the contact persons' names and contact details
- any prohibitions and consents to direct marketing
- information about the participants in the event and all information related to the event, such as food restrictions
- customer and contract information, such as information on previous and current contracts and orders. Customer profile based on customer relationship, correspondence and other contacts with the customer / registrant, cookies and information related to their use, as well as information, which the customer voluntarily enters into the company's system
- all other information collected separately with the consent of the data subject, such as areas of interest declared by the customer / registrants.

The provision of personal data marked with an asterisk (*) is a minimum requirement for creating our contractual and / or customer relationship. Without the necessary personal information, we will not be able to deliver the service.
 

Where your personal information comes from
We obtain information mainly from the following sources: from the registrant himself, from service providers and other similar trusted parties. In addition, personal data may be collected and updated for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including from publicly available sources, authorities or other third parties, within the limits of applicable law. Such updating of data is performed manually or automatically.

Who we share your information with
We do not disclose information from the register to a third party or to anyone outside the EU / EEA area.

Reliability and security
Only our employees, who have the right to process customer data for their work, have the right to use the system that contains personal data. Each user has their own username and password for the system. The information is collected in databases that are protected by firewalls, passwords and by other technical means. The databases and backups are located in locked spaces and can only be accessed by authorized personnel.
 

How long we keep your personal data
We store personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which the personal data is used, usually for five years. We regularly assess the need for data storage, taking into account current legislation. In addition, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that personal data about data subjects, which are incompatible, out of date or incorrect for processing purposes, are not stored in the register. We will correct or destroy such information without delay.
 

Your rights
According to the EU:s general data protection regulation, you as an Individual have the following rights in relation to the personal data we process about you.
- Access to your personal data: You have the right to access your personal data and receive information on how it is processed.
- Rectification, erasure and restriction: You are entitled to rectification of the personal data you consider to be incorrect. In certain cases, you are entitled to have your personal data deleted. This does not apply if your personal data still is required, for example due to legal requirements or if the processing may be based on any other legal ground. You have the right to request that the processing of personal data is restricted to a shorter time when we investigate potential errors.
- Withdraw consent: If you have consented to a certain type of processing, you have the right to withdraw your consent.
- Objection to balancing of interests: When the processing is based on balancing of interests you have the right, at any time, to object to such processing.
- Objection to direct marketing: You may, at any time, object to processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. Upon such objection, the personal data shall not be processed for such purpose anymore.
- Data portability: You are entitled to data portability, which means that you may, under certain circumstances, have the right to receive such personal data that you have provided to us, for the purpose of transferring such personal data to another controller.
- Complaint: You also have the right to file a complaint to your national supervisory authority if you believe that our processing of your personal data does not meet the requirements of the EU Data Protection Regulation.
